Unalome Designs is a grassroots sustainable clothing company based in Providence, Rhode Island that uses organic hemp, cotton, and bamboo fabrics as well as all natural dyes to produce their garments. When they approached us they were ready for a brand refinement, website re-design and new photography and video content to populate their website.

The project started with documenting their at-home dying process and viewing the labor of love that goes into making these garments. A hand-drawn logo suite was then developed to reinforce the idea of handmade garments, and a subtle neutral color palette was chosen to represent the use of natural fabrics. Classic studio techniques were then utilized to showcase their products in a high-fashion manner. Their final website provides contrast between the development of the clothing and the final representation of it, showing a dichotomy between their small, at-home operation and the beautiful garments it produces.
